Florence Scovel Shinn
The above Spirit Emanation (orb) was
taken May 20, 2008, in the backyard. The silver rods to the left
below it are wind chimes. I looked more closely at it because it
appeared to be orange. Imagine my delight when
I discovered the face of my dear friend Florence Scovel Shin.
Florence is the author of The Game of Life and
How to Play it, Your Word is your Wand, The Secret Door to Success
and The Power of the Spoken Word. She was born in 1871 and
transitioned October 17, 1940. In the fall of 2006 she helped
me write a workbook ecourse to go with her book,
The Game of Life and How to Play it.

The above image on the left was
scanned from the book titled The Writings Of Florence Scovel Shinn,
a compilation of the four books she wrote.
I snapped the photograph on the right with a Kodak Easy Share CX7430 camera.
Of course all of her hair didn't make it into the orb and her face
is looking to the left instead of ahead, but I could clearly see the
resemblance. If trouble is
experienced seeing the face, dim the lights in the room or look at
it without sunshine in the room.
