On October 31, 2008 (yes he has quite the sense of humor) my dad, Big Jim, transitioned to the Spirit realm during open heart surgery.  Shortly thereafter I noticed Majik, the poodle, playing with unseen playmates.  Upon investigation I discovered Majik was playing with Alvin, my dad's skunk who is in spirit.  Thus I learned that Majik could see them across the room, while I only see them in my mind's eye.  I learned to take photographs when Majik does this. Other orbs began to "be still" long enough for my camera to capture their image.  So I began to read books about orbs (see suggestions) all the while taking hundreds of photographs.  I would ask those of the Light of God to join me in the photography sessions and was seldom disappointed.  Orbs would show up in the day time, at dusk as well as after dark.
